The Bronco Basecamp runs on electric power for the everyday and calls on petrol to charge the battery when the road keeps going. Enough to chase down the spots that are further out, with a combined estimated driving range of 800-900 km (WLTP)145. These figures are preliminary and will be confirmed closer to the on-sale date.

Setting up is quick. The seats fold down ready to set your bed and the table folds out of the swing gate. Plus, on Outer Banks, the roof lifts143 and food and drink can be stored in the front142 console. Wherever you stop, the campsite goes.

Both rows fold down to open up the cabin space for sleeping. The custom inflatable mattress is shaped to fit the interior and will be available to purchase as an additional accessory.

Standard on Outer banks your snacks and drinks are kept at temperature in the integrated centre console142, which runs while the vehicle is on. Ready when you are.

With room for five, the interior cabin has ample headroom and reclining seats in the front and back. With premium soft finishes and modern technology, it’s somewhere you'd be happy to spend a comfortable long drive.
Legacy
Before SUVs, there was Bronco
Ford first built the Bronco in 1966 and called it an All-Purpose Vehicle, because the category it belonged to didn't even exist. Sixty years on, Basecamp is the first electrified Bronco.
